Darche Air Volution AT-6 Review

Setting up, as you can imagine, is a breeze. Just lay out the tent on the ground and start pumping the air in. The additional poles that are used to stabilize the ceiling are also air beams so there won’t be a risk of damaging your tent in case you get caught up in the strong winds.

The poles are made of puncture resistant thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and are surrounded by durable 300D Polyester sleeves. The high capacity low pressure with hose has a pressure release valve to reduce the air pressure and prevent over inflation.

There are 2 zippered mesh sky lights on the tent’s ceiling for added ventilation and a place to stargaze whilst inside the tent.

Gusset windows ensures you are well ventilated inside while keeping the rain from seeping in the tent.

The 3 large doors provide easy access for you and your family as this tent can sleep up to 6 people. The front area can be used as a storage space while you can use the wide awning space for socials and meal preparations.

The Air Volution also comes in a 4 person model called the Air Volution AT-4. You can find the newer model of this size at Outback Equipment or the older one at Tentworld.

Pros

Pressure Release Valve – This additional feature along with the puncture resistant TPU ensures that your tent won’t burst with too much air pressure.

Roomy – The inner tent is 4.3m in length and 2.8m wide which means there is enough roomy for you and your other 5 companions.

Cons

Expensive – With its modern and patented technology, the Darche Air is one of those tents that is on top of the market.
